Middle school is a time for students to uncover who they are, decide who they want to be, and find what they’re passionate about. Students will have the chance to choose 3 different labs from the list below and spend roughly 14 days in each.
Cosmetology, Sports Medicine, Emergency Fire Management, Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Digital Manufacturing, Digital Audio Production, Design and Marketing, Criminalistics, Structural Engineering, Video Production, Intro to Culinary Arts, Robotics, Mechanisms, Veterinary Medicine
Students will be using expensive equipment that is shared across multiple class periods each day. Safe and responsible use of these resources is crucial for ensuring a positive and safe experience for everyone. Please check after reading each expectation.

- Equipment & Materials: Use equipment and materials as stated in the module directions and instructed by the teacher; do not remove anything from the lab without the teacher’s permission. Willful damage or destruction of materials associated with the lab will be considered a category 3 offense according to the (Student Code of Conduct, p. 32) and will result in disciplinary action and include payment for the damage.
- Respect: Be respectful to classmates, adults, materials and to YOURSELF!
- Safety First: Use materials only for their intended purposes. Avoid horseplay or other disruptive behavior.
- Preparation: Before entering, place backpack in the cubbies and enter only with a pencil and a charged laptop. All other technology must remain in backpack.
- Technology: Use only the provided websites to complete lab activities
- Time Management: Complete tasks within the time allotted
- Cleanliness: Return all tools, parts, and materials to their proper storage spots before leaving.
- Food and Drink: No food or drink is allowed in the classroom at any time.
