I love being able to call New Providence Middle School my teaching home! As an alumni of NPMS and NWHS, it is an honor to carry on the traditions that helped frame so much of my school life. I'm excited to be an Academic Coach this year. It's a new adventure for me as well as the faculty and students I represent--- it's going to be a fabulous year! When I'm not at NPMS, I love to spend time with my family and friends, go to church, travel (the cover photo is from Maine- part of our summer roadtrip of 14 states through the northeast), bake special creations, and decorate all the things!
Although this year could possibly be unlike any of my previous 31 years as an educator, I will treasure each moment with the students and my work family as we capture special memories during the 24-25 school year. GO MUSTANGS!

SCHOOL SUPPLIES:

Look for supply lists/course expectations from each teacher within their updates/course syllabus---

As a rule, most will require the basics, such as:

  • 2"-3" - 3-Ring Binder - utilized within all core subjects
  • Binder dividers labeled with their classes 
  • Binder pencil zipper pouch
  • Pencils, paper, highlighters, color pencils
  • Ear buds
  • Be Respectful - Treat everyone with kindness. This includes adults, classmates, and yourself.
  • Be Responsible- in your academics and behavior. Be organized and prepared for class.  TAKE ALL SCREENERS AND ASSESSMENTS SERIOUSLY-- they may affect your class schedule.
  • Be Engaged- Actively participate, stay on task, and learn each day.           
  • Check PowerSchool often for the most current grades.
