My name is Brittany Dickson. 2022-2023 is my second year at NPMS. I teach Math Intervention. I have a service dog named Bindi, cleared through H.R., who comes with me daily to assist with my medical needs. I enjoy reading, playing Scrabble, biking, swimming, & skating. In school, I was a trumpet player in the concert & marching band, ran cross country & long-distance track, was a member of Future Christian Athletes, & in the National Honor Society. I am proudly retired from the United States Army. I have been married to Will for 14 years & we have a 7-year-old son, William. We are also foster parents. We have lived all over the world, & have settled in Cunningham, Tennessee.I have my Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees in Special Education through Liberty University.I also have a certificate in Military Resiliency.I am blessed to have done all my observations, student teaching, substituting, educational assistant, & training through CMCSS.I have substitute taught in texas & North Carolina.

In class, we will learn various tools to assist with being successful. Many different things that we can use, do or create to get better in school and life.
My classroom expectations are that students will arrive in my class on time, with their computers charged, and sharpened pencils. They will stay awake and away from distractions while they are actively participating and learning in my classroom. We work hard and we play hard. They must also show all of their work and SLANT.
