I am happy to be a part of the New Providence family. I am a graduate of the Elementary Middle Teacher Residency program. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on middle school math at Austin Peay State University while working as a teacher resident. The three years of my teaching residency were completed here at New Providence in 8th-grade math, and I am excited to continue my teaching journey in my own 8th-grade math classroom.
I am originally from IL and spent most of my life in the suburbs of Chicago. I have been married to my husband for 16 years, and we have a daughter together. We are all a part of CMCSS, my husband is a teacher at Kenwood Middle, and our daughter attends Rossview High as part of the Academy of Media Arts and Technology.
I look forward to a year of learning and growth as our 8th-grade students work towards finishing their middle school journey and continuing on to high school prepared to succeed.
